
Churrasco Chicken Leg
ingredients
- 4 chicken legs
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- ½ lemon, zest and juice
- ½ lime, zest and juice
- 1 orange, zest and juice
- Sprig of oregano, leaves roughly chopped
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Salt
- 2 tbsp rapeseed oil

method
- Make the churrasco: combine the garlic, onion, zest and juice of the citrus fruits and the oregano in a bowl and mix well. Season with a pinch of salt & black pepper.
- Marinate the chicken legs with the churrasco and leave in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Heat the oil in a pan over a high heat. Add the marinated chicken legs (skin side down). Seal all over until golden then transfer to the oven and cook for 30-40 minutes.
